The B in B Corp is open to interpretation. It was originally derived from “benefit corporation”, a type of US corporate structure, but B Corp means many things to many people.

B Lab UK reveals there are now 2,000 certified B Corps in the UK, making UK the fastest growing B Corp community in the world.

Companies must re-certify every three years to retain B Corporation status. Certified B Corporation logo mark. This B Corp mark can only be used by companies certified by B Lab. As of February 2024, there are 8,254 certified B Corporations across 162 industries in 96 countries.
